Summary
The definite documentary on Academy Award winning make-up artist Michael Westmore, as well as his legendary family, the Westmores. At one time, a Westmore headed virtually every studio make-up department in Hollywood. Michael won an Academy Award for "Mask," as well as nine Emmy's for his television work, most notably 17 years as head of the make-up department for "Star Trek The Next Generation," "Star Trek Deep Space Nine," "Star Trek Voyager," "Star Trek Enterprise" as well as four Star Trek features. He was also responsible for the make-up on Sylvester Stallone's "Rocky" and several of its sequels, "First Blood" and several of the Rambo sequels, "Raging Bull," "New York, New York" and many others. Michael started his career in 1960s at Universal Studios, working on such iconic shows as "The Munsters," "McHale's Navy" and "It Takes a Thief.'
